Worthi made a post asking if anybody wanted to colour his line art.
Little did he know that I freaking love to colour stuff.
edit: here’s the flats, before I went overboard with shading
Here’s another Homestuck music remix that doesn’t do justice to the original song.
The Beginnings of LOFAM 3
Hi friends. Veritas Unae here (that guy who decided to mash up Doctor with Doctor Who, and make some piano jingles and a website).
Did you like LOFAM and LOFAM2? Were you knocked out of your seat when you were greeted in November last year with an album of (almost) completely original tracks by Homestuck fanmusicians, before the second trip to the Land of Fans and Music in December saw a massive release of seventy Homestuck fansongs? Would you like another? I am almost certain the answer is a resounding “yes”. If not then… well… I apologise in advance but LOFAM 3 is almost certainly going to be a thing. So too bad. (clear out some lame songs, these are gonna be better)
We’ve got a good team of people who are hanging around to help out again. But this is still an album for the fans and like LOFAM and LOFAM2 before it, you can help us out by giving us a short list of fan songs from whatever sources that you’d like to see on the album. The aforementioned team will then go through and select the best of the best to be in the album, which will be released on hsfanmusic.skaia.net. Also planned is a page for the original LOFAM on that same website where you can download that album without having to go through the hoops of wondering where to find it or why you can’t download it from Bandcamp.
When the MSPA forums come back online, we’ll put up a thread there to act as a more central hub than this blog, but for the mean time send your suggestions into here. A small ground rule - don’t put forward your own track. Don’t put forward your own track.Send all your track nominations to this blog, and we’ll do our best to sift through them all. We’re also looking for artists who might want to help the album by making track art. Lune is heading that, so forward your requests to her tumblr.
Other than that, watch this space for updates. Currently, the deadline for this stage of putting forward music choices will last until the 25th of March. Offers of art will be open slightly longer, as getting a finalised list of songs and contacting all the artists for permission needs to be completed before we start searching for track art.
Main points to recognise:
- Until the thread goes up, send requests to this blog for songs and volunteering for art to Lune.
- You can put in nominations until the 25th.
- Don’t nominate your own song.
- The original LOFAM will be moved to the hsfanmusic website sometime in the future.
Get ready for some more Fans and Music, my friends.
I’ll be partially involved with this one as well. Get hyped!

Cover art by lunise
Land of Fans and Music 2 brings together 68 of the best of the best fanmusic songs of the Homestuck fandom in one neat bundle (plus two jingles by some sort of jinglesmith). With over 40 Homestuck musicians and fanmusicians present, including super-fan Dante Basco, there’s bound to be something to enjoy for everyone! Each track comes with its own track art, too. The art has been supplied by 57 artists, and will come packaged in its own zip as downloadable content (DLC) for the album, along with several BONUS pieces of art that were made for songs subsequently cut or simply alternate versions of track art that were submitted.
The website is now updated to include LOFAM2 as well as Sburb OST, using some ~*~handy tabs~*~. From this website you can access a direct download link as well as the torrent file itself and the DLC. Again, the website has been designed by Veritas Unae and hosted by Andrew Neo. We thank Andrew most dearly for his continued hosting of these fan music releases.
So get amongst it and start reblogging this post like crazy!
Just as a reminder, the website is where you can directly download this album!
Woops, forgot to actually reblog this! 70 free music tracks for your ears!
The second hodgepodge MSPA fan music collection has been released!
I did the mastering for Disk 1, the assembly of the commentary booklet, and there’s one of my tracks on it as well!
A Christmas cover of Sburb OST’s Universe Creation theme by Max “Imbrog” Wright.
From my [Super Unofficial Album] Sburb OST Bonus DLC!
Originally a take on Crazy-8’s “Skaia” WIP, this evolved into a loose medley of other Sburb OST songs.
